Victorian communicators shine again on the world stage

Victoria has struck gold at the international IABC Gold Quill Awards with 17 awards for communications excellence bestowed upon our local communication champs. The winning haul is a record-breaking achievement for Victorian communicators and entries judged the best in the world hail from top tier banks, boutique consultancies, infrastructure businesses, not for profits and government authorities. All found their place on the global stage through membership of IABC Victoria. Congratulations to our award-winning members!

It’s not only been a golden year for Victoria, but 2017 marks a record-breaking haul for Australia, with Aussie communicators taking home a total of 26 of the possible 212 Quills. We’re incredibly proud of Melbourne PR student Saania Habeeb who was the only student entrant to win a Gold Quill globally! Sincere thanks to Monica Lancucki, ABC for her unwavering support and dedication in assisting our home-grown talent to participate in the Gold Quills program.

Special congratulations to Telstra who have a five-year Gold Quills hot streak, and Cropley Communication who will take home three Quills at the World Conference Awards Dinner in Washington DC.
