Gold Quill awarded to our Vice President

IABC Victoria Vice President, Monika Lancucki, of Becton Property Group, has been awarded a prestigious Gold Quill Award for the communications strategy to support Becton's June 2011 Capital Restructure. The only winner in the category of Issues Management and Crisis Communication, Monika will accept her award at the IABC World Conference in Chicago in June.

For the past 40 years, IABC’s annual Gold Quill Awards program has honoured the best of the best in business communication, offering professional communicators an opportunity to have their work evaluated by expert judges. Of the nearly 700 entries received from 23 countries this year, 78 were selected to receive awards.  Of these 78, only 24 were Awards of Excellence, making Monika's achievement all the more significant. Visit the Gold Quill Awards web site to see the complete list of 2012 Gold Quill Award winners.

To recognise excellence in business communication at a local level, the Victorian Chapter of the IABC also has a local award, the Bronze Quill. All Victorian Gold Quill entrants who proceed to international blue ribbon judging receive a Bronze Quill. This year, the Bronze Quill Award will be presented on May 30 at the IABC Victoria Cocktail Evening at Vue de monde.

Congratulations again on this fantastic achievement Monika!
