Highlights from the IABC 2012 World Conference

Couldn’t attend the World Conference?  Well here is the next best thing – access to the key notes from some of the fantastic sessions. The conference offered over 50 sessions, covering an enormous range of information, so where to begin?

Some of the VIC IABC members luck enough to attend have offered some thoughts of what they thought were the best sessions.  Monika Lancucki, IABC Vic VP, recommends 'Crashing at a shore near you' with Annette Martel and 'Building Trust' with Pamela Shockley Zabalak.

Kate O’Donnell, IABC VIC President, offered the following, “In terms of my highlights of the World Conference, I absolutely loved hearing Lyn Heward – creative director of Cirque du soleil – who inspired us to look within for creativity. Her in-depth account of how Cirque operates and the way they invest and reward their staff was fascinating. I also loved the session on 'say what you mean', which I blogged about while I was away. The speaker, Jeff Ansell, was perhaps one of the best speakers I've seen; so comfortable and engaging. His tips were a timely reminder to me and many of the other delegates and made me much more of the way I was communicating with the people around me!”
