Individuals who are current or aspiring business communication professionals. This includes freelancers and the self-employed. Professionals are our biggest group of members.

Full-time students of colleges, universities and other educational institutions, as well as part-time students working toward a degree, and not presently working in the communication profession.

Graduates from a communication, marketing, PR or related degree program of an accredited institution in the last 12 months.

Individuals who have been professional IABC members for at least five years, are retired from employment in the communication industry and are at least 55 years of age.

Limited to 500 members, the 500 Club offers lifetime membership. The 500 Club is currently closed to new members as it is full.

These membership categories are conferred upon members by the IABC international executive board in recognition of their service to IABC and the profession. Nominations can be submitted to the IABC headquarters.
